.Helpful resources.General rules. Follow. Keep it civil and on topic. I just wanted to put this somewhere for people who may have had the same trouble as I did with windows 10 and video games.Sometimes when playing a game in windowed fullscreen (borderless fullscreen), the taskbar can get stuck and will persistently show at the top.

Even if you have autohide enabled, the taskbar will still show whenever your cursor touches the bottom (or top depending on where your taskbar is located).FIX: use Task Manager to force-close explorer.exe and re-open it.In Task Manager (commonly opened with either CTRL+ALT+DEL or CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), go to details and end the task known as 'explorer.exe'.Afterwards, click File - Run New Task and type 'explorer'.The problem went away for me after that.Sorry if this isn't the correct place to put this or if the formatting is insufficient to count as a guide. I googled it myself and didn't find anything recent related to this problem. If anyone has more information as to why this happens, feel free to share!GPU: GeForce GTX 970Operating System: Windows 10 Pro. Say I have a game on Fullscreen Windowed setting on my primary monitor (M1). If I alt tab to any other window, other than the game, I used to have the taskbar show up on M1. Taskbar would also show up durring ALT+TABing (secondary always has the taskbar unless something is fullscreen in that window due to the extend taskbar setting.)After the AU I no longer get the task bar to show up while there is a fullscreen windowed program running UNLESS I have another window hidden behind the the fullscreen program AND that window is my current focus.

If any program on M2 is selected the taskbar disappears again. Durring the ALT+TABing the taskbar on M1 is always missing.Hopefully I explained that well enough.
